Automatic personality and writing style generation for your Personas — one activation, consistent character across every conversation. You have hundreds, maybe thousands, of profiles to manage. Crafting a unique, coherent personality for each one manually isn’t realistic. SoulEngine does it for you. Activate it on a profile and DumGum automatically defines how that Persona thinks, communicates, and connects, so every user gets a genuinely distinct experience, at scale, without the work.

How It Works

When activated, SoulEngine runs a one-time AI analysis of the Persona profile and configures:
  • Personality — a character type that defines the Persona’s tone, humor, and how it relates to users
  • Writing style — message length, sentence structure, emoji frequency, and natural imperfections that make messages feel human rather than scripted
  • Message rhythm — whether the Persona sends one message or splits thoughts into shorter, more natural bursts
  • Sexual appetite — how the Persona approaches and engages with intimate conversation
These settings are applied automatically to every reply, keeping the Persona in character throughout every conversation.

One Activation, Lasting Impact

SoulEngine runs once per Persona profile, not on every message. The Personality is stored and reused across all conversations. The character stays consistent no matter how many users that Persona talks to, and you’re never charged twice for the same profile.

You Stay in Control

SoulEngine sets the defaults but any instruction passed in a reply request always takes precedence. If you want to force a specific message length or override the splitting style for a particular flow, your instructions win. SoulEngine is the baseline; your configuration is the final word.
